Rocket League, the free-to-play game featuring football with cars, has been around since 2015. While the game constantly receives new content in the form of obtainable items via new seasons, there are limited maps to engage yourself in Rocket League. However, players can also enjoy custom maps in Rocket League, which are made by the game’s community. These maps are primarily designed to offer new challenges to players, which can help them improve their skills in Rocket League, and offer a new experience. These custom maps are also referred to as Workshop maps, given that they are available for PC players through the Steam Workshop page for Rocket League. If you are looking to try out workshop maps in Rocket League, here’s how you can get them. How to get workshop maps in Rocket League Go to the Rocket League library page on Steam. Click on the Workshop tab. Browse the variety of maps available and select the one you like. To download the map, click on the Subscribe button on the workshop page of the map. How to access workshop maps in Rocket League Start Rocket League on your PC. Click Play, and choose the Offline playlist. Go to Custom Games and select Workshop. Choose any of the downloaded maps. Given that the Workshop maps are available only through Steam, this means that console players cannot download or access the map. Also note that these maps are not supported for multiplayer gaming natively in the game, but you can refer to this guide which can help you set up how to play with friends in Workshop maps. You can uninstall a workshop map for Rocket League by going to the Steam Workshop page, clicking the “Your Files” dropdown, and choosing “Subscribed Items”. Click “Unsubscribe” on any map you want to remove. The post How to get workshop maps in Rocket League appeared first on Destructoid.
