Operation Twin Shells, Rainbow Six Siege's Year 9 Season 3, will pack a lot of punch with a new Defender and multiple buffs and nerfs for fan-favorite Operators, gadgets, and weapons. Rainbow Six Siege Y9S3 will be released in September 2024. Considering all the changes it will bring along, we'll witness another shift in the ongoing meta. The introduction of Skopós will change how Attackers approach the bomb sites, and the Siege Cup Beta will take the competition to a level further. In Operation Twin Shells, Nokk gets a great buff while Dokkaebi and Solis are nerfed. Ash mains will be sad, as the R4-C is getting a slight nerf as well. This change has affected the majority of Attackers such as Ace, Ash, Blackbeard, Brava, Capitão, Flores, Glaz, Grim, IQ, Jackal, Kali, Lion, Maverick, Osa, Sens, Striker, Thatcher, Twitch, Zero, and Zofia. Proximity Alarm Scoring Removed the Scoring Award triggered when an enemy activates a Proximity Alarm. This change has affected multiple Defenders such as Alibi, Castle, Caveira, Goyo, Mira, Rook, Oryx, Sentry, Skopós, Smoke, Solis, Tachanka, Tubarão, and Wamai.
