If you are excited to see the Amazon Prime Secret Level series, featuring works that explore a lot of exciting gaming worlds and universes, you are not alone. These are all the games that are going to be featured in the 15-episode series. Every game in Amazon Prime's Secret Level series Below is a list of the games that will be featured in each episode. Armored Core Concord Crossfire Dungeons & Dragons Exodus Honor of Kings Mega Man New World: Aeternum PAC-MAN PlayStation (Highlighting various PlayStation Studios beloved entities) Sifu Spelunky The Outer Worlds Unreal Tournament Warhammer 40,000 That's a really interesting list, and I'm incredibly curious to see what they do with a lot of these properties, especially PAC-MAN and Mega Man. Who is making Secret Level? Secret Level is being made by the creative team that worked on Love, Death & Robots for Netflix. That series was incredible, mixing some really fun and engrossing writing with beautiful visuals to tell a range of stories. It's also a really fun way to go about exploring video games in another medium, and it's really nice to see a continued return of anthology shows. Why your favorite game isn't in the series I have seen a lot of people talking about games that are not in the series as if the involvement of any particular IP is a given. I am certain that the creators had a long list of games that they were interested in, and I am also certain that legal complexities would have knocked quite a few of them out of the running. Quite simply, it can take years to sort out this kind of stuff, as we are sometimes looking at IPs that are worth hundreds of millions, and they need to protect themselves, as the damage associated with a poor product is something that executives will really worry about. Others might already have signed exploratory deals with other companies or entities or might be in the middle of negotiations to sell the rights to their games and universes. Some may even be in the middle of negotiations to be involved with this very show but might be aiming for a second series instead of jumping on board the first one. Basically, it is all really complex, and while a game might be popular, visually striking, and super engaging, it also doesn't mean it is the type of thing that really inspires the creative minds behind the show.
